DYSU #77 INSPIRED BY A MOVIE

Hey everyone!
Welcome to a new challenge at Do You Stack Up?!

How many of you love to create while watching TV?  Sometimes I turn it on just to make me company while I make my cards and projects.  This week we want you to create something based on one of your favorite movies.  I know most of us have at least one favorite movie in each gender.  So whether it is a drama, a romantic comedy… even a thriller!!  We want you to set free the drama queen in you and create something inspired by a movie.

For this week we have two great sponsors:

* $12 Gift Certificate

* $20 Gift Certificate

Joining us this week as our Hand picked Guest Designer,
please welcome Sanketi!

I have been into fine art, specifically oil painting and watercolors for over a decade now. I diversified into papercrafting about 8 years back when I started scrapbooking and card making. Having always sent cards to family and friends for every possible occasion or event, the limitation that store bought cards had, got me thinking about making my own . I went to a local craft store and got myself a few stamps and since then I have been hooked and am yet to meet a stamp I did not like!. The cards I created became popular for their uniqueness and I was soon making  cards full time customising them to specific needs.  I also  custom scrapbook for people who have plenty of photos in shoeboxes waiting to see the inside of an album!
 My style of cardmaking is essentially Clean and simple, . Often I try to do mixed media , especially use watercolors to give my design a light and airy feel to it as well as to enhance my stamping with a new fresh look.  My cards have been published in Designed To color Magazine April/May 2012 issue and Simply Handmade- Nov/ Dec issue 2012-pending publication.

Sanketi’s used an image from Tiddly Inks for her card which was inspired by the movie
 "Herbie - The Love Bug"

I had SO MUCH FUN with thi challenge. Thanks for hosting this awesome and creative challenge. I'm SMITTEN with The Alley Way Stamps, and DOUBLE crossing my chubby, ink-stained little fingers.
I wanted to mention that my link back to DYSU was originally linked incorrectly, but I did fix it so that it links back, and I actually had TWO of my followers come by and play along in the challenge. Woo Hoo!!! It's all about spreading the word, right?
Thanks for this great chance to win an amazing ptize, and special thanks to your generous sponsors and awesome DT inspirations.
Blessings,
Karen
